Workshop on Nutritional Management of Children with Severe Acute Malnutrition (SAM)
The India Institute of Public Health, as part of the workshop series for 2015 are inviting applications for a five day workshop on “Nutritional Management of Children with SAM”.

The workshop aims at enabling the participants develop technical competencies in nutrition service delivery targeted towards children with undernutrition at the facility as well as the community level. The workshop will focus on core principles of pediatric nutrition with key focus on infant and young child feeding practices, growth monitoring and promotion, community and facility based nutritional management of children with SAM and principles of behaviour change communication in providing effective nutrition education to the care givers for long term management.
